After a decade of service for The School, he’s finally fed up with this crap hole and moved on to find a better, finer, problem-free organization… if there ever is such a thing.
After five years of service, I think it’s about time should too.
Hello, my name is J. I am a graphics artist, whimsically referred to as 'creative multimedia anchor' for a university. I've been working for The School right after I graduated March 2005 with promises of being fulfilled in creative ways. It was at first but things slowly started to drift away from my expectations.

I was browsing through my files when I chanced upon this photo I shot last year.
There was this tree/bush thing that grew really close to my window. It was lush enough for birds to hide in, and this guy was one of them!
They're really noisy around 7:00 to 8:00 A.M.
Took this around noon so i guess they hide there to cool off a bit, I dunno.
Anyways I miss them, whatever they're called. They haven't visited since our helper massacred the tree.
I spent hours working on this tarp. It was decent, and totally not ugly.
I had it printed and it turned out good so we hanged it outside the school, but the guy who requested the tarp didn’t like it and wanted us to, to quote:
“…take it down and burn it”
Butthurt, I promptly had it taken down, then I ‘designed’ a much simpler one that’s bigger and more expensive… It was basically just blue, horrendously distorted blue text against a white background.
It went through several revisions because the guy, who is an academics administrator and has a doctorate degree, is not so confident with his English.
…
Talk about ungrateful, eh? Meh, it’s not my money he’s wasting.
I regret not pulling it down myself and burning it behind his air conditioning unit – so much lulz potential, but I’m a coward.
