Boss is gone

After a decade of service for The School, he’s finally fed up with this crap hole and moved on to find a better, finer, problem-free organization… if there ever is such a thing.

After five years of service, I think it’s about time should too.

Bird in the window

I was browsing through my files when I chanced upon this photo I shot last year.

There was this tree/bush thing that grew really close to my window. It was lush enough for birds to hide in, and this guy was one of them!

They're really noisy around 7:00 to 8:00 A.M.
Took this around noon so i guess they hide there to cool off a bit, I dunno.

Anyways I miss them, whatever they're called. They haven't visited since our helper massacred the tree.

Kill it with fire

I spent hours working on this tarp. It was decent, and totally not ugly.

I had it printed and it turned out good so we hanged it outside the school, but the guy who requested the tarp didn’t like it and wanted us to, to quote:

“…take it down and burn it”

Butthurt, I promptly had it taken down, then I ‘designed’ a much simpler one that’s bigger and more expensive… It was basically just blue, horrendously distorted blue text against a white background.

It went through several revisions because the guy, who is an academics administrator and has a doctorate degree, is not so confident with his English.

Talk about ungrateful, eh? Meh, it’s not my money he’s wasting.

I regret not pulling it down myself and burning it behind his air conditioning unit – so much lulz potential, but I’m a coward.

Ogeez, i accidentally my whole blog.

Dear blog, sorry for neglecting you. It's just that life had been so batshit you became very low in my priorities.

But don't worry, I'll to update you as frequently as I could from now on. I'll post past events if i can still recall them so cheer up!

A boss of mine almost died

The admin everybody hates nearly drove off a cliff. I lol'd.

He drove late one night to a city on the other half of the island. He was sleepy and tired and obliviously, he sped towards the edge of a cliff. There was a tree, unfortunately, that kept him from his demise.

Student money went to fixing that expensive service car.

Meh, i shouldn't be thinking about this.

I sort of killed a bird

The sun was high, humidity was low, and I thought it was going to be a beautiful day until my trisikad driver and his trisikad accidentally ran-over a bird.

I was on the sikad on my way to work and I SAW IT DIE A VIOLENT DEATH.

The driver and I were about to depart when a bird settled over a pile of burnt garbage probably to forage for food. It took us about half a second to realize what was going to happen, but it was too late. The sikad's front wheel rolled over the bird JUST AS IT WAS ABOUT TO ESCAPE. I turned around and saw the poor thing twitching and squirming until it gave out its final sigh.

*SIGH

The sickening crunch of tiny avian bone matter will forever haunt my mind... so to blogger, it must go!

Getting lost in my own city

I have no sense of direction.

I get lost easily if I travel by foot. Yesterday afternoon, I went to the printers to pick up a tarpaulin. It's a good twenty minute ride from the school but I ended up taking forty minutes, maybe even more, because there's a short distance to walk from where I get off.

I've been to the place before but I couldn't remember shat where exactly it was.

The sun was partly covered by an overcast sky. It rained that morning and from where we are on the globe so it was ridiculously humid. Add that to almost half an hour of walking across the city :(

So i found the place and grabbed the tarp, walked out and lol unknowingly took a different route to where the jeepneys were.

And then it rained.

I ended up missing a photo-shoot.
